Two chances to qualify

Qualifying round

The students must obtain at least 40% on the qualifying round exam in order to get an invitation to the global final.

Participation in the StemCo Global Final Rounds in Singapore is strictly by invitation only.

Exam Regulations

§

Format

The competition will be conducted in a digital format. Participants are required to bring their own laptops to complete the exams. It is essential that devices are fully charged, and participants should also bring their charging cables and power banks to ensure they can recharge their devices if needed. Please note that participants without properly functioning devices will not be permitted to take the exams. StemCo will not be responsible for providing or procuring devices for the exams.

Supported devices and web-browsers

a. MacBook with Safari web-browser. b. Windows Laptop with Chrome web-browser. Note: iPads, Android tablets, and smartphones are not supported for this exam.

Internet use

The use of the internet is strictly limited to exam-related activities.

Calculator use

The use of a calculator is permitted; however, participants must bring their own personal calculators. Calculators with external storage functions or wireless communication capabilities are prohibited. Sharing calculators during the exam is strictly prohibited.

Items for draft use

Notebook and pen for draft use during competition will be provided.

§

AI assistant use

Chat support on the platform will NOT be available.

§

Exam language

The default language for the competition will be English. Translations into other languages may be available upon request. If your preferred language is not English, please inform your mentor or country representative.

Integrity

The exam will be closely supervised, and any attempt to cheat will result in immediate disqualification. Auto proctoring will be enabled, so please ensure that your device has a fully functioning camera.

Appellation

Participants may report any problematic questions directly from the platform after the completion of competitions. The academic team will review all questions, incorporating feedback, before finalizing and releasing the rankings.

This award is presented to the top performer in each grade. In the event of a tie in scores, the participant who completed the test in the shortest time will be declared the winner.

Scoring System

Each correct answer earns 1 point.

0

Empty or incorrect answers receive 0 points.

There is no penalty for incorrect answers, encouraging students to attempt all questions.
